1. National trainers make history and contribute to up-skilling the Pacific workforce: Two Fijian trainers have achieved accreditation to teach internationally recognised courses at the Australia–Pacific Technical College (APTC), which is funded by the Australian Government. Josaia Macanavere and Sanjendra Bali are the first at the college to qualify as National Trainers, accredited to teach courses in Automotive Mechanical Technology and Carpentry. She is the recipient of a prestigious Australia Awards Scholarship, selected for the Australia Awards Leadership Program as one of the best and brightest applicants from Fiji.
